Road Traffic (Saint Lawrence) (Amendment No. 17) (Jersey) Order 2004

Coming into force                                                           8th July 2004

THE ENVIRONMENT AND PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 33 and 42 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956,[1] and after consultation with the Connétable of Saint Lawrence, orders as follows –

1        Interpretation

In this Order, “principal Order” means the Road Traffic (Saint Lawrence) (Jersey) Order 1990.[2]

2        Third Schedule amended

In the Third Schedule to the principal Order, in Part I, at the end of the entry in the second column opposite the item “St. Aubin’s Road”, there shall be inserted the following entry –

“South side (from its junction with La Vallee de St. Pierre, east for a distance of 24 yards).”.

3        Sixth Schedule amended

In the Sixth Schedule to the principal Order, in Part II, at the end of the entry in the second column opposite the item “Rue de Haut”, there shall be inserted the following entry –

“Between its junction with Le Mont Cambrai and its junction with St. Aubin’s Road.”.

4        Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Saint Lawrence) (Amendment No. 17) (Jersey) Order 2004 and shall come into force 7 days after it is made.
