States of Jersey Law 2005 (Appointed Day) (No. 1) Act 2005

1        Provisions commenced

The following provisions of the States of Jersey Law 2005 shall come into force 7 days after this Act is made –

(a)     Article 6;

(b)     Article 52(1), to the extent that it gives effect to paragraph 4 of Part 1 of Schedule 3;

(c)     Article 52(2), to the extent that it gives effect to the repeal, by Part 2 of Schedule 3, of Article 12 of the States of Jersey Law 1966;[2]

(d)     paragraph 4 of Part 1 of Schedule 3, for the purposes only of the commencement of the said Article 6;

(e)     Part 2 of Schedule 3, to the extent that it repeals Article 12 of the States of Jersey Law 1966.

2        Citation

This Act may be cited as the States of Jersey Law 2005 (Appointed Day) (No. 1) Act 2005.
