and Work (Transitional and Consequential Provisions) (No. 2) (Jersey) Regulations 2013

THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 52 of the Control of Housing and Work
(Jersey) Law 2012[1], have made the following
Regulations –
1 Transitional
provision in respect of manpower returns relating to undertakings
(1) Regulation 3
of the RUD Law and the Regulation of Undertakings and Development (Return of
Employers) (Jersey) Order 2001[2] shall continue to be in
force for the purposes of requirements relating to the completion and return of
manpower returns by 15th July 2013, notwithstanding the repeal of the
RUD Law by Article 51 of the Control of Housing and Work (Jersey) Law 2012[3].
(2) In
this Article “RUD Law” means the Regulation of Undertakings and
Development (Jersey) Law 1973[4].
2 Consequential
amendment to the Residential Tenancy (Jersey) Law 2011
In Article 18 of the Residential Tenancy (Jersey) Law 2011[5] –
(a) in
the heading for the words “Housing Law” there shall be substituted the
words “Control of Housing and Work Law”;
(b) in paragraph (1)
for the words “Housing (Jersey) Law 1949[6]” there shall be
substituted the words “Control of Housing and Work (Jersey) Law 2012[7]”.
3 Citation
and commencement
These Regulations may be
cited as the Control of Housing and Work (Transitional and Consequential
Provisions) (No. 2) (Jersey) Regulations 2013 and shall come into
force on the same date that the Control of Housing and Work (Jersey) Law 2012 comes
into force.
