Gambling (Amendment
of Law) (Jersey) Order 2015
Made 1st July 2015
Coming into force 8th
July 2015
THE MINISTER FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, in pursuance of Article 5(4) of the
Gambling (Jersey) Law 2012[1], and after consulting the Jersey
Gambling Commission and the Jersey Financial Services Commission, orders as
follows –
1 Article 5(3) of the Gambling (Jersey)
Law 2012 amended
For Article 5(3)(c)
of the Gambling (Jersey) Law 2012[2] there shall be substituted
the following sub-paragraph –
“(c) financial service business
within the meaning of the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998[3] or any act that would be
such financial service business but for an exclusion or exemption conferred by any
provision of that Law or by Regulations or an Order made under that Law;”.
2 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Gambling (Amendment of Law) (Jersey)
Order 2015 and comes into force 7 days after it is made.
