Road Traffic (Disabled Persons) (Parking) (Amendment No. 13) (Jersey) Order 2023

THE MINISTER FOR INFRASTRUCTURE, after consultation with the Connétables of St. Helier and Grouville, makes this Order under Articles 63, 64 and 84 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956 –

1        Road Traffic (Disabled Persons) (Parking) (Jersey) Order 2002 amended

In Schedule 1 (parking places for vehicles used by disabled persons) to the Road Traffic (Disabled Persons) (Parking) (Jersey) Order 2002 –

(a)     after the heading “GROUVILLE” there is inserted –

Parking places – 6 hour limit

La Sente Brée

East side (between a point 35 yards south of the northwestern corner of the property known as the Hollies Day Centre and a point 6 yards further south)”;

 

(b)     before the heading “ST. BRELADE” there is inserted –

Parking places – 30 minute limit

Gorey Village Main Road

West side (between a point 9 yards north of the junction with New Road and a point 6 yards further north)”;

 

(c)     after the sub-heading “Parking places – 2 hour limit” that relates to the heading “ST. HELIER” there is inserted –

“Commercial Buildings

East side (between a point 176 yards south of the Tunnel and a point 6 yards further south)”.

2        Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Disabled Persons) (Parking) (Amendment No. 13) (Jersey) Order 2023 and comes into force 7 days after it is made.
