(Disabled Persons) (Parking) (Amendment No. 6)
(Jersey) Order 2007

THE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT AND TECHNICAL SERVICES, in pursuance of Articles 63 and
84 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1], and after consultation with the
Connétable of St. Helier, orders as follows –
1 Schedule 1 amended
In Schedule 1 to the Road Traffic (Disabled Persons) (Parking)
(Jersey) Order 2002[2], in the entries relating to
St. Helier under the heading “Parking
places – 4 hour limit” –
(a) in
the item relating to Broad Street in the first column, for the entry in the
second column there shall be substituted the following entry –
“North side (between a
point 40 yards east of the western boundary of No. 36 and a point 23 yards
further east)”;
(b) the
item and entry relating to Conway Street shall be deleted;
(c) after
the item and entry relating to Don Street, there shall be inserted the following
item and entry –
“Esplanade

North side (between a point 190 yards east of Castle Street
and a point 13 yards further east)”;

(d) after
the item and entry relating to Hilary Street, there hall be inserted the
following item and entry –
“Hue Street
|
West side (between a point 25 yards north of Union Street and
a point 6 yards further north)”;
|
(e) in
the item relating to Phillips Street in the first column, for the entry in the
second column there shall be substituted the following entry –
“South side (between a
point 10 yards east of Bath Street and a point 16 yards further
east)”.
2 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Disabled Persons)
(Parking) (Amendment No. 6) (Jersey) Order 2007 and shall come into force
on 30th July 2007.
