THE STATES make this Act under Article 2 of the
Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Jersey) Law 1951[1] –
1 Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Jersey) Act 2010 amended
For the text in Part 2
of the Schedule to the Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Jersey) Act 2010[2] there is substituted –
“2020: 75th anniversary of VE Day
Friday 8th May 2020 is to be observed as a public holiday.”.
2 Citation
This Act may be cited as
the Public Holidays and Bank Holidays (Amendment) (No. 2) (Jersey) Act 2019
and comes into force on the day after it is made.
