MOTOR
VEHICLE REGISTRATION (GENERAL PROVISIONS) (AMENDMENT No. 8) (JERSEY) ORDER 2000

THE
HOME AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 4, 7, 8, 10 and 15 of the
Motor Vehicle Registration (Jersey) Law 1993,
as amended,
orders as follows -
1. In this Order
“principal Order” means the Motor Vehicle Registration (General Provisions)
(Jersey) Order 1993,
as amended.
2. In Article 5(b)(iii) of the principal
Order, for the amount “£18” there shall be substituted the amount “£18.50”.
3. In Article 21 of the principal Order -
(a) in paragraphs (1)(c), (2)(c) and (4)(b),
for the amount “£59” in each place where it occurs there shall be substituted
the amount “£60.50”; and
(b) in paragraph (3)(c), for the amount “£41”
there shall be substituted the amount “£42”.
4. In Article 23(b) of
the principal Order, for the amount “£23” there shall be substituted the amount
“£23.50”.
5. In
the Second Schedule to the principal Order -
(a) in paragraph 4(a), for the amount “£290”
there shall be substituted the amount “£297”;
(b) in paragraph 5, for the amount “£59” there
shall be substituted the amount “£60.50”; and
(c) in paragraph 6(2), for the amount “£23” there
shall be substituted the amount “£23.50”.
6. The Motor Vehicle
Registration (General Provisions) (Amendment No. 7) (Jersey)
Order 1999
shall be revoked.
7. This Order may be
cited as the Motor Vehicle Registration (General Provisions) (Amendment No. 8)
(Jersey) Order 2000 and shall come into force
on the first day of January 2001.
