ROAD TRAFFIC (SAINT HELIER)
(AMENDMENT No. 10) (JERSEY) ORDER 2002

THE PUBLIC SERVICES
COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 33, 33A, 33B
and 42 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956,
as amended, and after consultation with the Connétable of Saint Helier, orders
as follows -
1. In
this Order “principal Order” means the Road Traffic (Saint
Helier) (Jersey) Order 1996, as amended.
2. The
following provisions of the principal Order shall be deleted -
(a) in Article 2(1) the definitions of “Badges Order” “disabled
person” and “minibus for the disabled”;
(b) Article 6(1)(b);
(c) in Article 10 in the definition of “parking” the words “or in
the Ninth Schedule”;
(d) Part IV;
(e) in each place where it occurs in Article 32 the word “, IV”; and
(f) the Ninth Schedule.
3. In
Article 11(2) of the principal Order for the words “Article 28” there
shall be substituted the words “Article 2(2)(a) of the Road Traffic (Disabled
Persons) (Parking) (Jersey Order 2002”.
4. In
Article 15(1)(a) of the principal Order for the words “Article 28(1)”
there shall be substituted the words “Article 2 of the Road Traffic (Disabled
Persons) (Parking) (Jersey) Order 2002”.
5. In
the Eighth Schedule to the principal Order -
(a) in Part II in the second entry relating to St. Aubin’s Road for
the words “8 yards east” there shall be substituted the words “20 yards
east”; and
(b) in Part IV in the first entry relating to Mount Bingham
for the words “47 yards further west” to there shall be substituted the
words “40 yards further west”.
6. This
Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Saint Helier)
(Amendment No. 10) (Jersey) Order 2002 and
shall come into force on 1st November 2002.
