1 Animal Health (Jersey) Law 2016 amended
In the Animal
Health (Jersey) Law 2016 –
(a) in the list in Schedule 1
(diseases) –
(i) after “Aujesky’s disease” there is inserted “Avian
chlamydiosis (Psittacosis otherwise known as Ornithosis)”,
(ii) for “Contagious bovine pleuro-pneumonia” there is substituted –
(iii) after “Glanders” there is
inserted “infection with Batrachochytrium salamandrivorans”,
(iv) “Psittacosis (also known
as Ornithosis)” is deleted,
(v) after “small hive beetle” there is inserted
“Surra (Trypanosoma evansi)”;
(b) in the list in Part 1
of Schedule 2 (specified pathogens) –
(i) after “Burkholderia mallei.”
there is inserted “Campylobacter foetus subspecies venerealis.”,
(ii) after “Cochliomyia hominivorax.” there is inserted “Coxiella burnetii.”,
(iii) after “Monkey pox virus.”
there is inserted –
(iv) after “Mycoplasma capricolum sub species capripneumoniae.” there is inserted –
“Mycoplasma gallisepticum.
Mycoplasma meleagridis.”,
(v) after “Peste des
petits ruminants virus.” there is inserted “Porcine
reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus.”,
(vi) after “St. Louis equine
encephalomyelitis virus.” there is inserted –
“Salmonella pullorum.
Salmonella gallinarum.
Salmonella arizonae.”,
(vii) after “Trichinella spiralis.” there is inserted “Trichomonas foetus.”.

and commencement
This Order may be cited as
the Animal Health (Miscellaneous Amendments – Diseases) (Jersey) Order 2021 and
comes into force 7 days after it is made.
