ROAD TRAFFIC (SAINT LAWRENCE) (AMENDMENT No. 15) (JERSEY) ORDER 2002

                THE PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 33B and 42 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956, as amended,[1]  orders as follows -

 

                1.      In this Order “principal Order” means the Road Traffic (Saint Lawrence) (Jersey) Order 1990,[2] as amended.[3]

 

                2.      In Article 7B(2) of the principal Order for the word “The” there shall be substituted the words “Subject to Article 2(2)(a) of the Road Traffic (Disabled Persons) (Parking) (Jersey) Order 2002, the”.

 

                3.      For Article 7F(1) of the principal Order there shall be substituted the following paragraph -

 

          “7F.-(1)  The charge for parking a vehicle at a paying parking place shall be -

 

          (a)     if the vehicle complies with Article 2 of the Road Traffic (Disabled Persons) (Parking) (Jersey) Order 2002, one parking unit for each period of two hours or part of two hours; and

 

          (b)     in any other case, one parking unit for each period of one hour or part of one hour.”.

 

                4.      This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Saint Lawrence) (Amendment No. 15) (Jersey) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 1st November 2002.
