                THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 5 of the Adoption (Amendment No. 4) (Jersey) Law 1999,[1] have made the following Act -

                1.      The Adoption (Amendment No. 4) (Jersey) Law 1999 shall come into force on the 1st day of September 2001.

                2.      This Act may be cited as the Adoption (Amendment No. 4) (Jersey) Law 1999 (Appointed Day) Act 2001.
