Lodging Houses (General Provisions) (Amendment No. 9) (Jersey) Order 2003

Coming into force                                                     1st January 2004

THE HOUSING COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 5 and 19 of the Lodging Houses (Registration) (Jersey) Law 1962,[1] orders as follows –

1        Article 4 amended

For paragraph (1) of Article 4 of the Lodging Houses (General Provisions) (Jersey) Order 1962[2] there shall be substituted the following paragraph –

“(1)    The fee to accompany an application for registration, or for the renewal of registration, of a lodging house under Article 5 of the Law shall be £10.50 multiplied by the maximum number of persons proposed to be lodged at the lodging house.”.

2        Revocation

The Lodging Houses (General Provisions) (Amendment No. 8) (Jersey) Order 2001[3] shall be revoked.

3        Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Lodging Houses (General Provisions) (Amendment No. 9) (Jersey) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 1st January 2004.
