(Public Parking Places) (Amendment No. 5) (Jersey) Order 2010

THE
MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT AND TECHNICAL SERVICES, in pursuance of Articles 59 and 84 of
the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1], orders as follows –
1 Interpretation
In this Order “principal Order” means the Road Traffic
(Public Parking Places) (Jersey) Order 2006[2].
2 Article 1
of principal Order amended
For the definition of “controlling body” in
Article 1(1) of the principal Order there
shall be substituted the following definition –
“ ‘controlling
body’, in respect of a parking place, means –
(a) the parochial authority in the case of a parking
place administered by a parochial authority;
(b) the Minister for Education, Sport and
Culture in the case of the parking places STB5A, STB28, STB29, STH6, STH21,
STH29, STH30, STH31, STH32, STC6 and STS3; or
(c) the Minister for Transport and Technical
Services in any other case;”.
3 Schedule 1
to principal Order amended
In Schedule 1 to the principal Order –
(a) at the end of
Part 2, the following entries shall be added –

(e) at the end of
Part 11, the following entry shall be added –

4 Schedule 2
to principal Order amended
In Schedule 2 to the principal Order –
(a) in Part 1, after
the entry “STH22” the entry “STH32” shall be inserted;
(b) in Part 2, after
the entry “STMN8” the entries “STH29” and “STH30”
shall be inserted;
(c) in Part 4, after
the entry “STB27” the entries “STB28” and “STB29”
shall be inserted;
(d) in Part 4, after
the entry “STH26A” the entry “STH31” shall be inserted;
(e) in Part 4, after the
entry “STMN12” the entry “STMN13” shall be inserted;
(f) in Part 4,
after the entry “STC5” the entry
“STC6” shall be inserted;
(g) in Part 4, after
the entry “STP3” the entry “STS3” shall be inserted.
5 Citation
This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Public Parking Places) (Amendment No. 5) (Jersey)
Order 2010.
6 Commencement
This Order comes into force 7 days after
it is made.
