Postal Services (Jersey) Law 2004 (Appointed Day) Act 2004

THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 86 of the Postal Services (Jersey) Law 2004,[1] have made the following Act –

1        Commencement of certain provisions of Law

The following provisions of the Postal Services (Jersey) Law 2004[2] shall come into force on 11th October 2004 –

(a)     Parts 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 11;[3]

(b)     Articles 31, 32, 34 – 42;[4]

(c)     Articles 71 – 75, 77, 81 – 83 and 86;[5]

(d)     Article 85 to the extent that it relates to paragraphs 8 and 10 of Schedule 2;[6]

(e)     paragraphs 8 and 10 of Schedule 2.[7]

2        Citation

This Act may be cited as the Postal Services (Jersey) Law 2004 (Appointed Day) Act 2004.
