Registration (General Provisions) (Amendment No. 14) (Jersey) Order 2005

THE HOME AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 4, 7, 8, 10
and 16 of the Motor
Vehicle Registration (Jersey) Law 1993,[1] orders as follows –
1 Interpretation
In this Order, “principal Order”
means the Motor Vehicle Registration (General Provisions) (Jersey) Order 1993.[2]
2 Article
5 amended
In Article 5(b)(iii) of the principal Order, for the amount
“£20.35” there shall be substituted the amount
“£20.85”.
3 Article
22 amended
In Article 22 of the principal Order –
(a) in
paragraph (1)(c) for the amount “£66.70” there shall be
substituted the amount “£68.35”;
(b) in
paragraph (2)(c) for the amount “£66.70” there shall be
substituted the amount “£68.35”;
(c) in
paragraph (3)(c) for the amount “£46.35” there shall be
substituted the amount “£47.50”;
(d) in
paragraph (5)(b) for the amount “£66.70” there shall be
substituted the amount “£68.35”.
4 Article
24 amended
In Article 24(b) of the principal Order for the amount
“£25.85” there shall be substituted the amount
“£26.45”.
5 Schedule
2 amended
In Schedule 2 to the principal Order –
(a) in paragraph
1 for the words “which is a motor car” there shall be substituted
the words “which is a moped, light motorcycle, heavy motor cycle, motor
car”;
(b) in
paragraph 4(a) for the amount “£327.30” there shall be
substituted the words “£335.45 for motor cars and heavy motor cars
and £85.00 for mopeds, light motorcycles and heavy motorcycles”;
(c) in
paragraph 5 for the amount “£66.70” there shall be
substituted the amount “£68.35”;
(d) in
paragraph 6(2)(a) for the amount “£25.85” there shall be
substituted the amount “£26.45”.
6 Schedule
5 amended
In Schedule 5 to the
principal Order, in Part 3, in paragraphs 8(3), (4) and (5) and 9(3) and (4),
in the table to each sub-paragraph, the item entitled “Space between
groups” and the entry or entries opposite shall be omitted.
7 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Motor Vehicle Registration (General
Provisions) (Amendment No. 14) (Jersey) Order 2005 and shall come into
force on 1st January 2006.
