THE HOME AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 4, 7, 8, 10 and 15
of the Motor
Vehicle Registration (Jersey) Law 1993,[1] orders as follows –
1 Interpretation
In this Order, “principal Order”
means the Motor Vehicle Registration
(General Provisions) (Jersey) Order 1993.[2]
2 Article
5 amended
In Article 5(b)(iii) of the principal Order, for the amount
“£19.85” there shall be substituted the amount
“£20.35”.
3 Article
21 amended
In Article 21 of the principal Order –
(a) in
paragraph (1)(c) for the amount “£65.10” there shall be
substituted the amount “£66.70”;
(b) in
paragraph (2)(c) for the amount “£65.10” there shall be
substituted the amount “£66.70”;
(c) in
paragraph (3)(c) for the amount “£45.25” there shall be substituted
the amount “£46.35”;
(d) in
paragraph (4)(b) for the amount “£65.10” there shall be
substituted the amount “£66.70”.
4 Article
23 amended
In Article 23(b) of the principal Order for the amount
“£25.25” there shall be substituted the amount
“£25.85”.
5 Second
Schedule amended
In the Second Schedule to the principal Order –
(a) in
paragraph 4(a) for the amount “£319.35” there shall be
substituted the amount “£327.30”;
(b) in
paragraph 5 for the amount “£65.10” there shall be
substituted the amount “£66.70”;
(c) in
paragraph 6(2)(a) for the amount “£25.25” there shall be
substituted the amount “£25.85”.
6 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Motor Vehicle Registration (General
Provisions) (Amendment No. 12) (Jersey) Order 2004 and shall come into
force on 1st January 2005.
