(Disabled Persons) (Badges for Motor Vehicles) (Amendment No. 2) (Jersey) Order 2011

THE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT AND TECHNICAL SERVICES, in pursuance of Articles 60
and 84 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1], orders as follows –
1 Article 6 of Road Traffic (Disabled
Persons) (Badges for Motor Vehicles) (Jersey) Order 1982 amended
In Article 6 of the Road Traffic (Disabled Persons) (Badges for
Motor Vehicles) (Jersey) Order 1982[2] –
(a) in paragraph (1),
for the words “Subject to paragraph (2), the authority” the
words “The authority” shall be substituted;
(b) the
following paragraph shall be added at the end –
“(3) Paragraph (1)(a) shall
not apply in relation to an application by a person who has had one or both
legs amputated (whether in whole or in part) if the application is for a disabled
person’s badge (other than a duplicate badge) to be issued to the person after
a previous issue of a disabled person’s badge to the person.”.
2 Citation
and commencement
(1) This
Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Disabled Persons) (Badges for Motor
Vehicles) (Amendment No. 2) (Jersey) Order 2011.
(2) This
Order shall come into force on the seventh day after it is made.
