MOTOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION (GENERAL PROVISIONS) (AMENDMENT No. 10) (JERSEY) ORDER 2002

____________

 

                THE HOME AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 3, 4, 7, 8, 10 and 15 of the Motor Vehicle Registration (Jersey) Law 1993,[1] as amended,[2] orders as follows -

 

                1.      In this Order, “principal Order” means the Motor Vehicle Registration (General Provisions) (Jersey) Order 1993,[3] as amended.[4]

 

                2.      In Article 5(b)(iii) of the principal Order, for the expression “£18.95” there shall be substituted the expression “£19.40”.

 

                3.      In Article 21 of the principal Order -

 

                (a)     in paragraph (1)(c), for the expression “£62.00” there shall be substituted the expression “£63.55”;

 

                (b)     in paragraph (2)(c), for the expression “£62.00” there shall be substituted the expression “£63.55”;

 

                (c)     in paragraph (3)(c), for the expression “£43.05” there shall be substituted the expression “£44.15”;

 

                (d)     in paragraph (4)(b), for the expression “£62.00” there shall be substituted the expression “£63.55”.

 

                4.      In Article 23(b) of the principal Order, for the expression “£24.05” there shall be substituted the expression “£24.65”.

 

                5.      In the First Schedule to the principal Order, for the particulars numbered 16 there shall be substituted the following particulars -

 

                          “16.   whether previously registered in Jersey or any other place or never registered”.

 

                6.      In the Second Schedule to the principal Order -

 

                (a)     in paragraph 4(a), for the expression “£304.40” there shall be substituted the expression “£311.60”;

 

                (b)     in paragraph 5, for the expression “£62” there shall be substituted the expression “£63.55”;

 

                (c)     in paragraph 6(2), for the expression “£24.05” there shall be substituted the expression “£24.65”.

 

                7.      In the form set out in the Third Schedule to the principal Order -

 

                (a)     in Part B, for the particulars numbered (15) there shall be substituted the following particulars -

 

                          “(15)   Previously registered in Jersey or elsewhere or never registered”;

 

                (b)     in Part B, in the particulars numbered (21), for the word “used” there shall be substituted the words “previously registered”;

 

                (c)     in the Notes to the form, under the heading “What you require to register a motor vehicle”, for the items numbered (2) and (3) there shall be substituted the following items -

 

                                   “(2)   V55 form (if never registered).

 

                                   (3)     Previous registration document or certificate of origin (if previously registered).”.

 

                8.      This Order may be cited as the Motor Vehicle Registration (General Provisions) (Amendment No. 10) (Jersey) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 1st January 2003.
