Lodging Houses
(General Provisions) (Amendment No. 10) (Jersey)
Order 2003

Coming into force in
accordance with Article 3
THE HOUSING COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 5 and 19 of the Lodging Houses (Registration)
(Jersey) Law 1962,[1] orders as follows –
1 Article 4 amended
For paragraph (1) of Article 4 of the
Lodging Houses (General Provisions)
(Jersey) Order 1962[2] there shall be substituted
the following paragraph –
“(1) The fee to accompany an
application for registration, or for the renewal of registration, of a lodging
house under Article 5 of the Law shall be £10.40 multiplied by the
maximum number of persons proposed to be lodged at the lodging house.”.
2 Revocation
(1) The
Lodging Houses (General Provisions)
(Amendment No. 8) (Jersey) Order 2001[3] shall be revoked.
(2) The
Lodging House (General Provisions)
(Amendment No. 9) (Jersey) Order 2003[4] shall be revoked.
3 Citation
and commencement
(1) This
Order may be cited as the Lodging Houses (General Provisions) (Amendment No.
10) (Jersey) Order 2003.
(2) Article
2(2) shall come into force forthwith and the remainder of this Order shall come
into force on 1st January 2004.
