THE MINISTER FOR SOCIAL SECURITY makes this Order under Articles 3,
4 and 16 of the Long-Term Care (Jersey) Law 2012[1] –
1 Long-Term Care
(Benefits) (Jersey) Order 2014 amended
This Order amends the Long-Term Care (Benefits) (Jersey)
Order 2014[2].
2 Article 8 (rates
for long-term care benefit comprising standard care costs) amended
For the table in Article 8 there is substituted –

3 Article 9
(conditions for receiving a long-term care benefit comprising standard care
costs) amended
In Article 9(c) –
(a) for “£345.80” there is
substituted “£349.65”;
(b) for “£37.80” there is
substituted “£38.22”.
4 Article 10 (amount
required to be paid towards standard care costs) amended
In Article 10 –
(a) in paragraphs (1)
and (2)(a) for “£57,590” there is substituted “£58,230”;
(b) in paragraph (2)(b)
for “£86,390” there is substituted “£87,350”.
5 Article 12
(co-payment benefits - loans to meet the costs referred to in Article 9(b),
(c) and (d)) amended
In Article 12(2)(b) and Article 12(5)(c) for “£345.80”
there is substituted “£349.65”.
6 Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as
the Long-Term Care (Benefits) (Amendment No. 9) (Jersey) Order 2020 and comes
into force on 1st January 2021.
