THE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT AND TECHNICAL SERVICES, in pursuance of Articles 21 and
84 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1], orders as follows –
1 Interpretation
In this Order, “principal Order”
means the Road Traffic (Speed Limits) (Jersey) Order 2003[2].
2 Schedule
1 amended
In Schedule 1 to the principal Order, in the list of roads in
the Parish of St. John –
(a) for
the entry for La Grande Route de St. Jean there shall be substituted the
following entry –
“La Grande Route de
St. Jean (between the northern boundary of the property known as ‘JFTU
Town and Country’ and a point 9 yards north of La Rue de
Bechet)”;
(b) for
the entry for La Route du Nord there shall be substituted the following
entry –
“La
Route du Nord (between La Route de
St. Jean and a point 120 yards north of La Rue de l’Etocquet)”.
3 Schedule
2 amended
(1) In
Schedule 2 to the principal Order, in the list of roads in the Parish of
St. Helier, after the entry for Old St. John’s Road there shall
be inserted the following entry –

Schedule 2 to the principal Order, in the list of roads in the Parish of
St. Peter –
(a) in
the entry for La Grande Route de St. Pierre, for the words
“St. Peter’s Post Office” there shall be substituted the
words “La Route du Manoir”;
(b) for
the entry for La Route de Beaumont there shall be substituted the following
entry –
“La
Route de Beaumont (between La Route du Manoir and a point 50 yards south
of La Rue de St. Clement)”;
(c) after
the entry for La Rue de l’Eglise there shall be inserted the following
entries –
“La
Rue des Fosses
La
Petite Rue des Fosses
La
Rue de St. Clement”;
(d) after
the entry for Rue du Moulin de Tesson there shall be inserted the following
entry –
4 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Speed Limits)
(Amendment No. 2) (Jersey) Order 2007 and shall come into force 14 days
after it is made.
