Security (Amendment of Law – Minimum Earnings Threshold) (Jersey) Regulations
2021

1 Article 5
(Class 1 contributions) of the Social Security (Jersey) Law
1974
amended
(1) Article 5
of the Social Security (Jersey) Law 1974 is amended as follows.
(2) For paragraph (3)(b) there is
substituted –
“(b) the
amount of those earnings in that contribution month is equal to or exceeds the
Class 1 minimum earnings threshold,”.
(3) After paragraph (3) there is
inserted –
“(3A) The “Class 1 minimum earnings threshold” is the amount
specified, or determined in accordance with provision made, by Order under this
paragraph.”.
2 Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be
cited as the Social Security (Amendment of Law – Minimum Earnings Threshold)
(Jersey) Regulations 2021 and come into force on 1st
January 2022.
