THE ENVIRONMENT AND PUBLIC SERVICES COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 33
and 42 of the Road
Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956,[1] and after consultation with the
Connétable of Saint Lawrence, orders as follows –
1 Interpretation
In this Order, “principal Order” means the Road Traffic (Saint Lawrence) (Jersey) Order 1990.[2]
2 Article
4 amended
Article 4(3) of the principal Order shall be revoked.
3 Second
Schedule amended
(1) In the
Second Schedule to the principal Order, for Part II there shall be substituted
the following Part –

(2) In
the Second Schedule to the principal Order, Part III shall be revoked.
4 Third
Schedule amended
In the Third Schedule to the principal Order, in Part 1, before the
first entry in the second column opposite the item “Rue de Haut”
there shall be inserted the following entry –
“West side (from the
south side of the exit of Le Clos du Val south for a distance of 11 yards, and
from the north side of the exit of Le Clos du Val north for a distance of 11
yards, and from the junction of Rue de Haut with La Ruelle Corbel south for a
distance of 22 yards).”.
5 Fifth
Schedule amended
In the Fifth Schedule to the principal Order, in Part III, after the
item “La Rue de la Ville Emphrie” in the first column and the entry
in the second column opposite that item there shall be inserted the following
item and entry –
“La
Ruelle de St. Claire The
entire road.”.
6 Sixth
Schedule amended
In the Sixth Schedule to the principal Order, in Part II, for the
entry in the second column opposite the item “Rue de Haut” there
shall be substituted the following entry –
“West side (from its
junction with La Vallee de St. Pierre to a point 11 yards south of the exit of
Le Clos du Val, and from a point 11 yards north of the exit of Le Clos du Val
to a point 22 yards south of La Ruelle Corbel).”.
7 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Saint Lawrence) (Amendment
No. 16) (Jersey) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 16th January
2004.
