(Amendment No. 12) (Jersey)
Regulations 2014

Coming into force in
accordance with Regulation 4
THE STATES, in pursuance of Articles 5 and 18 of the Income Support
(Jersey) Law 2007[1], have made the following
Regulations –
1 Interpretation
In these Regulations, a
reference to a paragraph 6 is a reference to paragraph 6 of Schedule 1
to the Income Support (Jersey) Regulations 2007[2].
2 Removal
of personal care element for child having score of at least 56
(1) In paragraph 6(1),
for the words “who qualifies in accordance with this paragraph.” there
shall be substituted the words –
“if he or she is –
(a) an
adult or child who has the score described in sub-paragraph (3)(a);
(b) an
adult or child who has the score described in sub-paragraph (3)(b); or
(c) an
adult who has the score described in sub-paragraph (3)(c) and who is not
receiving long-term care.”.
(2) In paragraph 6(3)(c) delete the words “where the member of the
household is not receiving long-term care”.
3 Removal
of personal care element for child having score of at least 36 but less than 56
In paragraph 6(1)(b) delete the words
“or child”.
4 Citation
and commencement
(1) These
Regulations may be cited as the Income Support (Amendment No. 12) (Jersey)
Regulations 2014.
(2) Regulations 1
and 2 and this Regulation shall come into force on the same day as Regulation 3
of the Income Support (Special Payments) (Child Personal Care) (Jersey) Regulations 2014[3].
(3) Regulation 3
shall come into force on 1st January 2015.
