THE MINISTER FOR INFRASTRUCTURE, after consultation with the Connétables of St. Brelade, St. Lawrence,
St. Mary and St. Peter, makes this Order under Articles 21 and
84 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1] –
1 Interpretation
In this Order “principal Order” means the Road Traffic (Speed
Limits) (Jersey) Order 2003[2].
2 Schedule 1 (30 mph
speed limit) amended
In Schedule 1 to the principal Order –
(a) under the heading “St. Brelade” for the entry “La Route Orange” there is
substituted –
“La Route Orange (from La
Route du Petite Port to a point 95 yards north of La Rue de Sergenté)
La Route Orange (from a point
35 yards east of Le Chemin Particulier de L’Ecole to La Rue Don)”;
(b) under the heading “St. Lawrence”
for the existing entries there is substituted –

3 Schedule 2 (20 mph
speed limit) amended
In Schedule 2 to the principal Order –
(a) under the heading “St. Brelade” after the entry “La Route de la Baie” there is inserted –
“La Route Orange (from a
point 35 yards east of Le Chemin Particulier de l’Ecole to a point 95 yards north of La Rue de la Sergenté)”;
(b) under the heading “St. Lawrence”
before the entry “Sandybrook Lane” there is inserted
“La Rue de Haut”;
(c) under the heading “St. Mary” –
(i) after the entry relating
to “La Rue du Rondin” there is inserted –
“La Rue du Rondin (from La Verte Rue to a

its southern end and forming a junction with la Ruette
d’Avranches at its northern end”.
5 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Speed Limits)
(Amendment No. 12) (Jersey) Order 2020 and comes into force on 14th December
2020.
