1 Social Security (Contributions) (Covid-19) (Jersey) Order amended
This Order amends the Social
Security (Contributions) (Covid-19) (Jersey) Order 2020.
2 Article 1
(interpretation) amended
In Article 1 –
(a) the definition
“Contributions Order” is deleted;
(b) after the definition “Quarter A 2021” there is
inserted –
“ “Quarter A 2022”
means the period of 3 months commencing 1st January 2022;”;
(c) after the definition
“Quarter D” there is inserted –
“ “Quarter D 2021”
means the period of 3 months commencing 1st October 2021;
“relevant Quarter” means Quarter A,
Quarter B, Quarter D, Quarter A 2021, Quarter D 2021 or Quarter A 2022.”.
3 Article 2
(modification of the time limit for payment of Class 1 contributions)
amended
In Article 2 for
“Quarter A, Quarter B, Quarter D or Quarter A 2021”
there is substituted “a relevant Quarter”.
4 Article 3
(modification of the time limit for payment of Class 2 contributions)
amended
In Article 3, for “Quarter A,
Quarter B, Quarter D or Quarter A 2021” there is
substituted “a relevant Quarter”.
5 Article 4 (recovery
of relevant benefit) amended
In Article 4 for
“Quarter A, Quarter B, Quarter D or Quarter A 2021” there is substituted
“a relevant Quarter” –
(a) in paragraph (1)(a);
(b) in paragraph (1)(b).
6 Article 4A
(modification of treatment for purposes of survivor’s benefit and pensions of
contributions paid late) deleted
Article 4A is
deleted.
7 Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Social Security (Contributions)
(Covid-19) (Amendment No. 4) (Jersey) Order 2021 and comes into force 7 days
after it is made.
