(Disabled Persons) (Parking) (Amendment No. 8) (Jersey) Order 2011

THE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT AND TECHNICAL SERVICES, in pursuance of Articles 63
and 84 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1], and after consultation with the
Connétable of St. Helier and the Connétable of St. Saviour,
orders as follows –
1 Road
Traffic (Disabled Persons) (Parking) (Jersey) Order 2002 amended
In Schedule 1 to the Road Traffic (Disabled Persons) (Parking)
(Jersey) Order 2002[2] –
(a) under
the heading “ST. HELIER” –
(i) under
the heading “Parking places – 4 hour
limit”, after the item in respect of The Parade (western arm) there
is inserted the following item –
“People’s Park
|
South-east side (between a point 22 yards south-west of
Westmount Road and a point 12 yards further south-east)”,
|
(ii) under
the heading “Parking places – 1 hour
limit” –
(A) immediately before the item
in respect of Halkett Place there is inserted the following item –
“Grosvenor Street
|
South side (between a point 40 yards east of St. James
Street and a point 5 yards further east)”,
|
(B) after the item in
respect of Lewis Street there is inserted the following item –
“Oxford Road
|
North side (between Common Lane and a point 13 yards
east)”;
|
(b) under
the heading “ST. SAVIOUR”
immediately before the sub-heading “Parking
places – 2 hour limit” there is inserted the
following sub-heading and item –
“Parking places – 4 hour limit
Plat Douet Road
|
West side (between the southern boundary of No. 79 Grasset
Park and a point 6 yards north)”.

2 Citation
This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Disabled Persons)
(Parking) (Amendment No. 8) (Jersey) Order 2011 and comes into force 14 days
after it is made.
