(Prescription Only) (Amendment No. 7) (Jersey)

THE HEALTH AND SOCIAL SERVICE COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 57 and
110 of the Medicines (Jersey) Law 1995,[1] after consultation with the
Medicines Advisory Council and having otherwise complied with Article 110 of
the Law, orders as follows –
1 Schedule 1 amended
In Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the
Medicines (Prescription Only) (Jersey) Order 1997,[2] in relation to the substance
Flurbiprofen in Column 1 –
(a) in
column 2 there shall be inserted the expression “8.75 mg”;
(b) in
column 3 there shall be inserted the words “throat lozenges”; and
(c) in
column 4 there shall be inserted the words “43.75 mg (MDD)”.
2 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Medicines (Prescription Only)
(Amendment No. 7) (Jersey) Order 2005 and shall come into force 7 days
after it is made.
