THE MINISTER FOR HOME AFFAIRS makes these Rules under Articles 17
and 29 of the Prison (Jersey) Law 1957[1] –
1 Amendment of Prison (Jersey) Rules 2007
These Rules amend the
Prison (Jersey) Rules 2007[2].
2 Rule 63 (remission of sentence) amended
In Rule 63(1), (2)
and (3), after “imprisonment” there is inserted “or youth detention”.
3 Rule 64 (temporary release) amended
In Rule 64(1), after
“imprisonment” there is inserted “or youth detention”.
4 Citation and commencement
These Rules may be cited
as the Prison (Amendment No. 4) (Jersey) Rules 2020
and come into force on the day after they are made.
