(Jersey) Order 2014

THE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT AND TECHNICAL SERVICES, in pursuance of Articles 62,
63, 64 and 84 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1] and after consultation with the
Connétable of St. Helier, orders as follows –
1 Amendment of Road Traffic (St. Helier)
(Jersey) Order 1996
The Road Traffic (St. Helier) (Jersey)
Order 1996[2] is amended in accordance
with this Order.
2 Schedule 1
amended (one-way traffic routes)
In Part 1 of Schedule 1 after the item and entry relating to
Hue Street there shall be inserted the following item and entry –
|
“Hue Street (from a point 56 yards north of Dumaresq Street
to Dumaresq Street)
|
From a point 56 yards north of Dumaresq Street to Dumaresq
Street”.

3 Schedule 2
amended (Prohibition or Restriction of Turns)
(1) In
Part 1 of Schedule 2 before the item and entry relating to Mont Millais
there shall be inserted the following item and entry –
|
“La Route du Fort
|
St. Clement’s Road”.
|
(2) In
Part 3 of Schedule 2 before the existing item and entry there shall
be inserted the following item and entry –
|
“All vehicles
|
La Route de St. Aubin
|
Farley’s Lane”.
|
4 Schedule 4
amended (Prohibition of Waiting)
In Schedule 4 –
(a) after the item and entry relating to La Route du Port
Elizabeth there shall be inserted the following items and entries –
|
“La Rue de Carteret
|
Both sides
|
|
La Rue de l’Etau
|
Both sides”;
|
(b) in the item relating to Vallée
des Vaux after the entry relating to the East side there shall be inserted the
following entry –
|
|
“West side (between its boundary with the Parish of Trinity
and a point 40 yards further south)”.

5 Schedule 8
amended (Parking Places on Roads)
In Part 2 of Schedule 8 in the item relating to Grosvenor
Street in the second entry for the words “76 yards further
west” there shall be substituted the words “40 yards east of its
junction with St. James Street”.
6 Schedule 10
amended (Parking of Vehicles on Roads for Loading and Unloading)
In Part 1 of Schedule 10, in the 4th column of the entry
relating to La Motte Street for the time “6 p.m.” there
shall be substituted the time “11 a.m.”.
7 Citation
and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (St. Helier) (Amendment
No. 29) (Jersey) Order 2014 and shall come into force the day after
it is made.
