THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 3 of the Employers’ Liability (Compulsory Insurance) (Jersey) Law 1973, have made the following Regulations –

1 Exemptions
The employers listed in the Schedule to these Regulations are exempted from the requirements of the Employers’ Liability (Compulsory Insurance) (Jersey) Law 1973 (hereinafter referred to as the “Law”).
2 Citation
These Regulations may be cited as the Employers’ Liability (Compulsory Insurance) (Exemption) (Jersey) Regulations 1973.
SCHEDULE[1]
(Regulation 1)
EMPLOYERS EXEMPTED FROM REQUIREMENTS OF THE LAW
British Airways Board and any member of the group
British Broadcasting Corporation
British Railways Board
The Government of any foreign state or Commonwealth country.
A company which has only one employee, where the employee owns 50% or more of the issued share capital of the company.
