The EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SECURITY COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Article 9 of the Health and Safety at Work (Jersey) Law 1989 and Regulation 10 of the Safeguarding of Workers (Highly Flammable Liquids) (Jersey) Regulations 1979, orders as follows –
Commencement [see endnotes]
Provision for pressure relief in the case of explosion shall be made in the structure of a fire resisting structure listed in the Schedule.
Provision for adequate natural ventilation shall be made in any store room which is –
(a) a fire resisting structure within the meaning of Regulation 1(1) of the Regulations; and
(b) used for storing 50 litres or more of highly flammable liquids.
This Order may be cited as the Fire Resisting Structures (Explosion Pressure Relief) (Jersey) Order 1980.
