THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 42 of the Investment Business (Jersey) Law 1998,1 (hereinafter referred to as “the Law”), have made the following Act –

1.-(1)  Subject to paragraph (2) of this Article the Law shall come into force on the 1st March 1999.

(2)     Article 6 of the Law2 shall come into force on 1st July 1999.

2.             This Act may be cited as the Investment Business (Jersey) Law 1998 (Appointed Day) Act 1999.
