MISUSE OF DRUGS (MODIFICATION) (JERSEY) ORDER 1991

THE PUBLIC HEALTH COMMITTEE, in pursuance of Articles 3 and 25 of the Misuse of Drugs (Jersey) Law 1978,1 as amended2 (hereinafter referred to as “the Law”), and after consultation with the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs, hereby orders as follows –

1.             The Second Schedule to the Law shall be amended –

(a)     in sub-paragraph (a) of paragraph 1 of Part I (Class A drugs) by inserting –

(i)      after the item “2,5-Dimethoxy- a, 4-dimethylphenethylamine.” the item “N-Hydroxy-tenamphetamine.”; and

(ii)     after the item “2-Methyl-3-morpholino-1,1-diphenylpropanecarboxylic acid.” the item “4-Methyl-aminorex.”; and

(b)     in paragraph 1 of Part III (Class C drugs) by inserting after the item “Methyprylone.” the item “Midazolam.”.

2.             This Order may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs (Modification) (Jersey) Order 1991 and shall come into force on the first day of September 1991.
