THE MINISTER FOR EXTERNAL RELATIONS AND FINANCIAL SERVICES makes this Order under Articles 3 and 4 of the Sanctions and Asset-Freezing (Jersey) Law 2019 –

1        Schedule 1 (UK sanctions instruments implemented) to Sanctions and Asset-Freezing (Implementation of External Sanctions) (Jersey) Order 2021 amended

In the table in Schedule 1 to the Sanctions and Asset-Freezing (Implementation of External Sanctions) (Jersey) Order 2021, in the row labelled “Burundi” –

(a)     in column 2 for “The Burundi (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019” there is substituted “The Burundi (Sanctions) Regulations 2021”;

(b)     in column 3 for “2019/1142” there is substituted “2021/1404”.

2        Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Sanctions and Asset-Freezing (Implementation of External Sanctions) (Amendment – Burundi) (Jersey) Order 2021 and comes into force on 14th December 2021.
