The Minister for
Justice and Home Affairs is designated as the competent authority in
relation to –
(a) fuel and electricity;
and
(b) gas,
for the purposes of Articles 5 and 7 respectively of the Emergency Powers and Planning
(Jersey) Law 1990.

This Act may be cited as the Emergency Powers and Planning
(Competent Authority) (Fuel, Electricity and Gas) (Jersey) Act 1991.
[1] Article 1 The
functions of the Home Affairs Committee (previously called the Defence
Committee) were transferred to the Minister for Home Affairs by the States of
Jersey (Transfer of Functions from Committees to Ministers) (Jersey)
