Helier) (Amendment No. 19)
(Jersey) Order 2006

THE MINISTER FOR TRANSPORT AND TECHNICAL SERVICES, in pursuance of Articles 62, 63,
64 and 84 of the Road Traffic (Jersey) Law 1956[1] and, after consultation with the
Connètable of St. Helier, orders as follows –
1 Interpretation
In this Order, “principal Order”
means the Road Traffic (St. Helier) (Jersey) Order 1996[2].
2 Schedule
4 amended
In Schedule 4 to the principal Order –
(a) in column
2, for the first entry opposite the item “Broad Street” in column 1
there shall be substituted the following entry –
“North side (between
the western boundary of No. 36 Broad Street and a point 21 yards east)”;
(b) in
column 2, for the second entry opposite the item “Broad Street” in
column 1 there shall be substituted the following entry –
“North side (between a
point 82 yards east of the western boundary of No. 36 Broad Street and its
junction with Conway Street)”;
(c) in
column 2, for the first entry opposite the item “Church Street”
there shall be substituted the following entry –
“East side (between its
junction with Hill Street and a point 13 yards north, and between a point 23
yards north of its junction with Hill Street and a point 3 yards north of Royal

(d) for

Schedule 8 to the principal Order, in Part 1 –

the item “Broad Street” in column 1 there shall be substituted for
the entry opposite in column 2 the following entry –

(b) the
item “Library Place” in column 1 and the entry in column 2 opposite
shall be deleted.
(2) In

shall be substituted the following item and entries –

6 Citation
and commencement
(1) This
Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (St. Helier) (Amendment No. 19) (Jersey)
Order 2006.
(2) This
Order shall come into force 7 days after it is made.
