THE MINISTER FOR JUSTICE AND HOME AFFAIRS makes this Order under Articles 8,
15, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23, 24A, 24C, 52, 56, 57, 58, 58A, 60, 78, 80C and 82A of,
and Schedule 2A to, the Marriage and
Civil Status (Jersey) Law 2001 and Articles 6B, 9, 12, 13, 14A,
14B, 17A, 21, 21A, 26AA, 26AC, 72 and 72A of the Civil Partnership
(Jersey) Law 2012 –
1 Marriage and Civil Status (Jersey) Order 2018 amended
(1) This
Article amends the Marriage and Civil Status (Jersey)
Order 2018.
(2) In
Article 15(2)(d) (application for approval of location), for “item 1
or 2, as the case may be,” there is substituted “item 5 or 6”.
(3) In
Article 16(10) (grant or refusal and renewal of approval), for “item 4”
there is substituted “item 7”.
(4) In
Article 22(2) (amendments to approval), for “item 3” there is
substituted “item 8”.
(5) In
Schedule 1 (fees payable under the Law or this Order), in the table in
Part 1 (fees payable under the Law), for item 8 there is substituted –

3 Citation and
commencement
This Order may be cited as the Marriage and Civil Partnerships
(2024 Fees) (Jersey) Order 2023 and comes into force on 1st January 2024.
